As there is no visa number currently available, the petitioner may wish to contact the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in ANKARA or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding alternative visas that may be available for his/her Relative.
The petition's priority date determines when a visa number is available for the principal applicant. The priority date is the date when the petition was:
Filed at a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office, or
Submitted to a U.S. Embassy or Consulate General abroad.
(For employment-based petitions) The date the labor certification application was received by the Department of Labor (DOL).
