TWC is experiencing an exceptionally high volume of clients. To help manage online access, with immediate effect, TWC will limit access to online payment requests based on the day listed in the submission instructions. Filing days are assigned from Sunday to Wednesday. All users can submit their payment request online from Thursday to Saturday. This restriction does not apply to people who file a new unemployment claim.
If TWC asked you to submit information regarding your unemployment insurance (UI) claim, such as proof of ID, a Work Search Log, or other documentation, you can submit your documents online with our UI Submission Upload portal.
As of July 25, 2020, the $600 Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation has ended. You will not be receiving the extra $600 in any benefit payments requested for any weeks ending after July 25, 2020. TWC cannot extend these payments and this cannot be appealed.
The Texas Workforce Commission is reviewing President Donald Trump's executiveorder on the Lost Wages Assistance Program regarding the $400 supplemental unemployment benefit payment. When we have additional information, we will update our systems and website. Please continue to submit your payment requestevery two weeks.

TWC pays benefits by U.S. Bank's ReliaCard (debit card), or by direct deposit into your personal checking or savings account. Unless you sign up for direct deposit, you will receive your benefits on the ReliaCard. If you signed up for direct deposit on a prior claim, TWC will use the checking or savings account information you previously provided. NOTIFY TWC IMMEDIATELY if your checking or savings account information has changed since your prior claim. If you don't your benefit payment(s) may be delayed.
