IMPORTANT REMINDER: If you or any of the derivative beneficiaries arrive at the interview with any missing documents, you will not be allowed to proceed to your interview and will need to reschedule through our website.
Important Instructions:
Medical Examination: Must be completed at least 2 days prior to the interview. If further testing is required and the medical report is not ready, please bring proof of your medical examination. The doctor will send the medical report directly to our office once it is ready.
Document Delivery Registration: Each applicant must create a profile and register for document delivery services at www.ustraveldocs.com/tr/en/ no later than two days prior to the interview. Please bring your registration confirmation (showing your UID number) on the day of your appointment.
Passport Hold: If approved, it will take a minimum of 5 business days for us to prepare your immigrant visa. You must leave your passport at the Embassy and should not plan to travel outside Türkiye that requires your passport during this time.
Interpreters/Translators: The consular section provides services in English, Turkish, Farsi, and Arabic. If you need your interview in another language, you must bring a sworn translator certified by a Turkish Notary Public. The translator must speak English and your native language. Only English-speaking translators are accepted.
Electronically processed cases: Originals of ALL documents uploaded to CEAC, including the original of the petitioner’s birth certificate for IR5 and F4 visas.
Paper cases: Originals, translations (only for documents not in Turkish), and copies of ALL required documents for your visa category.
DS-260 Form: Make sure the DS-260 form is completed and electronically submitted for each immigrant visa applicant at http://ceac.state.gov/iv.
