I’m sharing this testimony to encourage someone who may be waiting, praying, or feeling discouraged.

I had been denied NON-IMMIGRANT visas 5 times
– 2 B1/B2 (2019 & 2020)
– 3 F1 (2022 & 2023)

Despite all of that, God still had the final say.

INTERVIEW DAY STORY

My interview time was 8:00am, but I got to the embassy by 6:20am. They didn’t really follow appointment times, and it was EXTREMELY cold 🥶 I was shivering so badly that I almost fainted. But the moment I got close to the front, they immediately called me in after seeing how much I was shaking. God truly went ahead of me.

They told us no bags were allowed, but God sent a helper who kindly held onto my bag until I was done.

When I entered, they asked if it was non-immigrant or immigrant, and I said immigrant. I was given a ticket number and asked to watch the screen.

After about 15 minutes, I was called to Window 17 (a room). The officer asked for the originals of:
• My birth certificate
• My husband’s first marriage divorce decree
• Police reports from Turkey and Nigeria
• My passport
• Marriage certificate

When I tried to give him my Cyprus police report, he said he didn’t need it.

He told me to sit and wait for the interview… but a few minutes later, my number was called again . I was confused, wondering what else was needed.

He asked for my passport photograph and guess what? I couldn’t find it anywhere 🥹🥹. I was searching everywhere and saying to myself, “Devil is a liar!”

He calmly told me to relax and check again. I realized I might have left it in my bag outside. He gave me a pass to go out and come back. I was so nervous and laughing at myself because I’m usually very organized .

Thank God, I found it in my bag outside and rushed back in. I gave it to him, and he told me to sit down again.

After about 7 minutes, I was called to Window 20 — this was the real interview .

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

The officer was very kind and polite.
• Is this both your second marriage?
Me: no. For my husband, yes.
CO: How long have you been married?
Me: Over two years.
CO: How did you meet and how did your relationship progress to marriage?
CO: Have you ever been to the U.S.?
Me: No.
CO: How many times has your husband visited you since marriage?
He was typing

Me: Four times, plus one time we both traveled to Nigeria to see our families.
CO: Did any family attend your wedding?
Typing again and apologizing

Me: None of my family attended, but his brother came with him from the U.S for the wedding.

He typed a lot, constantly apologizing for taking his time.

He asked to see pictures and chats. I showed them, including boarding passes for the six times my husband has traveled to see me here and our Nigeria trip making 7 times we have seen. He barely looked and said, “Oh, that’s okay.”
Then he told me to confirm my husband’s name, at this point I just called out his name sweetly he said oh okay

He returned all my documents, kept typing for about two more minutes, then took my new passport.

Next, he reached for the domestic violence rights pamphlet and started explaining my rights as a spouse of a U.S. citizen honestly, I didn’t hear much after that because I was already smiling nonstop .

Then he said:

“Let me congratulate you. Your visa is approved. You will receive it in about 5 days.”

I told him thank you and mentioned I had already paid for VFS. He confirmed it would be delivered to the address I registered.

APPROVED. JUST LIKE THAT.

FINAL WORD

I wasn’t nervous at all because the officers at the Ankara U.S. Embassy are extremely kind.

What shocked me the most?
They NEVER asked about my past non-immigrant visa denials.
Not once.

They focused only on my marriage and relationship.

If you’re waiting, please don’t give up.
Your past does not cancel God’s plan.
What He has approved in heaven cannot be denied on earth.

God did it.

Hello everyone! This is the update from my medical appointment: yesterday what I observed was that people weren’t many and the few I saw there ate 90% DV visa applicants because I also asked questions from one of them. It safe to say I was the only Ir1 that went for my appointment yesterday because the doctor even said I came so early because my interview is still next month but I told her I needed to do it on time so I will
Know I’m done with that. So to the main gist

So when I got there at the first i went to the 4th floor, they took my passport and confirm my appointment and asked me if I was once in North Cyrus before now and I said Yes. She made photocopy of my passport and printed something out to sign, After the signature, I was told to go to the 5th floor and when I got there , I just waited about 30 minutes then they called my name. I paid about 2000 Turkish lira? This payment was probably for bloodtest, urine test and x ray. For the x-ray, I was told to remove my necklace

After bloodtest and stuff they sent me to the 3rd floor . I waited 7 minutes there again. And I was called for my x-ray to undress and
Pack my hair properly and it takes like 1 mins to do my x-ray and he sent me back to the 4th floor and she collected my passport and the stuff they put inside and I was told to come back by 1pm for physical body examination

I came back by 12:20 and waited and waited until 13.10 and I was called inside and was given a nose mask and my body weight and height was checked then I changed to a medical clothes and the doctor came in
The doctor asked about so many diseases and I told her No that I don’t have any

She pressed my body and asked if I had done surgery before and I said yes appendix and she said ok and she said it’s time for my vaccines and I got two two shots on both shoulder (total 4 vaccines) and told me not to try to get pregnant in one month. Then I went to the counter and I paid more 18.590 lira (eighteen thousands five hundred and ninety lira) for the whole medical today I paid 20,590 lira

The lady that collected the money told me they would send me an email about it tomorrow and they will send my medical to the embassy.

God be praised in heaven. Hallelujah Thank you Jesus

This afternoon around 12:30 pm, my medical results had been sent to the embassy and I got my own copies via my email. I paid around $485 dollars in total when I converted the lira to dollars. I went with cash (Turkish lira) you can also pay with debit card.

UPS just delivered my passport just now. That’s like 6 days. I was told at the embassy that it will take 7 days but I got it now. Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year to everyone.

I just got my interview letter guys I’m so happy. I was DQ February 21, 2025. That’s like 8 months.

@yeşim-yıldırım amen. I will update the group about the interview and medical appointment. I already booked my medical appointment and it has been confirmed for first week of November.

@AB-BEG wow! You mean you have been waiting for İL since last year April? Just wow! This is crazy! I waited tor 9 months to get mine and I can tell you that it wasn’t easy. It’s psychologically difficult between congratulation on your İL.

They asked for birth certificate (original)police reports,
My husband first marriage divorce decree, my passport photo, international passport and marriage certificate

And when I was called for my interview they didn’t ask for anything but the officer asked if I have printed chats and pictures and I said Yes. I gave it to him and he just glance through and gave them back and after my interview, they gave me all the documents back and took my passport alone. I already posted how my interview went, you can check it out previously

@gokcesak Oh Yeah! Men don’t really care about this I guess but I care so much The pictures are just sitting pretty in my gallery. So I think they need to see our beautiful pictures to know our love life isn’t fake but real and amazing
