@PhantomRaven You didn’t say anything wrong.
Please let’s take this with understanding. Yesterday was Christmas, and I believe the post was shared with good intentions, not to offend or impose beliefs.
This group brings together people from different backgrounds, and part of preparing for life in the U.S.A
is learning to coexist respectfully in a diverse and open-minded society. America is a liberal society. No one should feel bad or blame themselves for sharing something positive. Let’s keep the group supportive and focused on our journey.

@Seyduna After your visa had been issued, you’ll receive an email from GTS with your tracking number and the next or after two days, UPS will send you an email on how to track your passport. That’s literally it.

@gigi25 At my documents review
They asked for birth certificate (original)police reports,
My husband first marriage divorce decree, my passport photo, international passport and marriage certificateAnd when I was called for my interview they didn’t ask for anything but the officer asked if I have printed chats and pictures and I said Yes. I gave it to him and he just glance through and gave them back and after my interview, they gave me all the documents back and took my passport alone. I already posted how my interview went, you can check it out previously

Please don’t be stingy with your upload

Upload until you’re tired

@gokcesak Thanks so much. Oh Yes I did until 17th of December. I remember the chat I had with my husband through that week from how we planned my journey to Ankara and till I got to my hotel i screenshot and uploaded everything

. Infact my husband was begging that it is enough
I said no I will continue to upload. My advise is that: you can take three screenshots every month : beginning, middle and end of that month so in total you can have three screenshots every month.

@burak2344 Use “INSHOT” application. Download it on your Apple Store. You’ll use the collage to mix your photos or screenshots together and print them but I will still say, uploading gives you more upper head and hands than printing them. However, still print little of them but the ones you uploaded would have been seen before your interview day. That worked for me and lots of people I know. On the day of your interview, they will just want to confirm everything you uploaded and everything about your case. That’s it!

RE: IR-1/CR-1 süreci ve mülakat deneyimleri (ABD vatandaşı ile evlenip Türkiye'de Green Card almak)Aile Dayanaklı Göçmen Vizeler içinde yayımlandı
@yeşim-yıldırım Lol
of course they can’t check all at once but my advice to you is that upload lots of pictures and chats on your CEAC. I kept uploading every week and the officer asked for my chats and pictures but I gave him but he didn’t even check them. He just saw them and that was it and he approved me immediately. My case was updated on December 10 which means they might have checked most of the stuff I uploaded when my interview was getting closer. Because I kept checking and tracking our case, at that time, it says “Ready”So in summary, try to uploads lots of pictures and chats and even call screenshots. It helps because they check them on their system and it even more easy to avoid lots of questions on your interview day.

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Job 42:5
LONG READ ALERT – ANKARA U.S. EMBASSY TESTIMONY
PD: Sept 07, 2023
Approved: Jan 13, 2025
Sent to NVC (with WL): Jan 18, 2025
DQ: Feb 21, 2025
IL: Oct 24, 2025
Medical: Nov 11, 2025
Interview Date: Dec 18, 2025
Approved

I’m sharing this testimony to encourage someone who may be waiting, praying, or feeling discouraged.
I had been denied NON-IMMIGRANT visas 5 times

– 2 B1/B2 (2019 & 2020)
– 3 F1 (2022 & 2023)Despite all of that, God still had the final say.
INTERVIEW DAY STORY
My interview time was 8:00am, but I got to the embassy by 6:20am. They didn’t really follow appointment times, and it was EXTREMELY cold 🥶 I was shivering so badly that I almost fainted. But the moment I got close to the front, they immediately called me in after seeing how much I was shaking. God truly went ahead of me.
They told us no bags were allowed, but God sent a helper who kindly held onto my bag until I was done.

When I entered, they asked if it was non-immigrant or immigrant, and I said immigrant. I was given a ticket number and asked to watch the screen.
After about 15 minutes, I was called to Window 17 (a room). The officer asked for the originals of:
• My birth certificate
• My husband’s first marriage divorce decree
• Police reports from Turkey
and Nigeria
• My passport
• Marriage certificateWhen I tried to give him my Cyprus police report, he said he didn’t need it.
He told me to sit and wait for the interview… but a few minutes later, my number was called again
. I was confused, wondering what else was needed. He asked for my passport photograph and guess what? I couldn’t find it anywhere 🥹🥹. I was searching everywhere and saying to myself, “Devil is a liar!”

He calmly told me to relax and check again. I realized I might have left it in my bag outside. He gave me a pass to go out and come back. I was so nervous and laughing at myself because I’m usually very organized

.Thank God, I found it in my bag outside and rushed back in. I gave it to him, and he told me to sit down again.
After about 7 minutes, I was called to Window 20 — this was the real interview
.INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
The officer was very kind and polite.
• Is this both your second marriage?
Me: no. For my husband, yes.
CO: How long have you been married?
Me: Over two years.
CO: How did you meet and how did your relationship progress to marriage?
CO: Have you ever been to the U.S.?
Me: No.
CO: How many times has your husband visited you since marriage?
He was
typingMe: Four times, plus one time we both traveled to Nigeria to see our families.
CO: Did any family attend your wedding?
Typing again and apologizingMe: None of my family attended, but his brother came with him from the U.S for the wedding.
He typed a lot, constantly apologizing for taking his time.
He asked to see pictures and chats. I showed them, including boarding passes for the six times my husband has traveled to see me here and our Nigeria trip making 7 times we have seen. He barely looked and said, “Oh, that’s okay.”
Then he told me to confirm my husband’s name, at this point I just called out his name sweetly

he said oh okay
He returned all my documents, kept typing for about two more minutes, then took my new passport.
Next, he reached for the domestic violence rights pamphlet and started explaining my rights as a spouse of a U.S. citizen honestly, I didn’t hear much after that because I was already smiling nonstop

.Then he said:
“Let me congratulate you. Your visa is approved. You will receive it in about 5 days.”
I told him thank you and mentioned I had already paid for VFS. He confirmed it would be delivered to the address I registered.
APPROVED. JUST LIKE THAT.
FINAL WORD
I wasn’t nervous at all because the officers at the Ankara U.S. Embassy are extremely kind.
What shocked me the most?
They NEVER asked about my past non-immigrant visa denials.
Not once. They focused only on my marriage and relationship.
If you’re waiting, please don’t give up.
Your past does not cancel God’s plan.
What He has approved in heaven cannot be denied on earth.God did it.
