What You Need to Do Now
Go to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx
Log in with your case number and invoice ID (sent in an earlier email from NVC).
Check that your contact information is correct.
Pay any required fees.
Complete the DS-260 Immigrant Visa Electronic Application.
Upload required documents:
Use the Financial Evidence Assistant to make sure you gather the correct financial documents: https://nvc.state.gov/fin
Check your country’s civil document requirements: https://nvc.state.gov/find.
Wait to hear from NVC. Once NVC receives your documents, we will review your case for completeness and schedule your interview as soon as possible. Please note that interviews can only be scheduled if a visa number is available, you may visit the IV Scheduling Status Tool at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html to see which cases are currently being scheduled for interviews.
Important Note: Even if you provided documents to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), you must submit them again to NVC. The Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) may not list every required document. Review https://nvc.state.gov carefully to make sure you submit everything.
