@uogzh you will be able to sign up for your doctors appointment after you receive your interview date.
You’re allowed to schedule yourself in as far as one month ahead of your interview date, the system will tell you what days your cut off dates are for processing purposes.
When I signed up there was so many open time slots for the doctors appointment, I highly advice you get the earliest time available for which ever day you’re looking to go.
@ecom I agree with you, I followed the US Department of State civil documents guideline. It literally leads you to the list of e-Devlet documents needed to be submitted. Why would the NVC accept one thing but the Embassy want something else? I downloaded new versions of all e-Devlet documents so it’s all within a months time frame.
The embassy goes off of what’s on their computer screen which is your submitted application and paperwork. They then compare the paperwork you give once in line for the interview.
I’ve always been told, you give what your asked for and nothing more. I think if you tried to submit a different version of a few documents it wouldn't go over well with the person interviewing you and possibly annoy them. To be honest they would also question why the documents personally handed while at the embassy isn’t the same as the ones in the system. The barcode should be available to the interviewer if that’s what you provided the NVC.
To each their own of course but after reading so many peoples experience on here, no one ever mentioned their e-Devlet paperwork not being accepted (at least I haven’t read it).
If anyone interviewing within the next few days can provide their experience that would be great!!
My husband had his doctors appointment today, we stayed at the Tunali Hotel which was a 3 min walk to the doctors office so we didn’t need to move our car. He went in at 930 and was out by 1130.
First he paid $46, gave blood, took an X-ray, met with the doctor, and was given 3 shots. All his paperwork will automatically be sent to the Embassy, but we will receive an email tomorrow after 7PM that will be needed for customs at the airport. The shots cost us $280.
Now I’ve read on a here a few people say they gave blood and did their X-ray, but was told to come back in the afternoon to speak with the doctor. The earlier your appointment the better chances of that not happening. Our appointment was at 930 and we’re able to get everything done before 12 (lunch hour)
@t34 I spoke with a family member who retired from the embassy 3 years ago, and she said yes if the DS260 was submitted over 6 months ago then it is highly advised to update it.
I emailed the embassy Sunday night about letting me gain access to my DS260 and I was emailed back today saying it is now available for editing.
I was scared it would be a long waiting period but they respond super quick.
@Saad when you sign up for your medical appointment, there is a notice that says if you haven’t updated your ds-260 within the last 6 months it will not appear on the US Embassy electronic submission system. But does not say anything about when the 6 months starts.
Submission date
Acceptance date
DQ date
Im curious to know which date the 6 months is based off of.
@t34 all my information is still valid as well, but it says your DS260 needs to be updated if it’s over 6 months.
Does the 6 months start from when you submitted or when you DQed?
@t34 have you scheduled your doctors appointment yet, how do we update our DS-260??
I remember reading about this in earlier comments but can’t find it now.
How many days do I need to wait before I can register my appointment for passport pick up and medical appointment??
I received my interview date yesterday but still says my case isn’t ready to be registered..
@t34 yes, you should have printed immigration application confirmation, there are 2 barcodes at the bottom one is your case number and the other is your ds260 number.
Arkadaslar gun aldik, 12 Nisan gorusmeyi gidiyoruz!!! Herkeze nasip etsin!!!
@diana unfortunately, you can not track the interview timeline for CR1/IR1 interviews. Talking within this group we’re able to create a timeline for ourselves. But it’s roughly 4-5 months or more waiting from DQ to interview (Turkish citizen).
@koro I wonder if the Embassy is going to be issuing interviews on a monthly basis?
Also didn’t everyone think interviews were issued on Mondays but last week everyone received their dates on Friday. So it’s obvious things have been switched up. Hopefully this Friday more days will be issued, fingers crossed.
@yusufkeser here are a few links that will help you prepare your paperwork, but also remember anything you print that has a date on it can not be older than 6 weeks.
@koro almost our time 🥹🥹
Congratulations to everyone who received their dates.
