In response to significant worldwide challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of State has temporarily suspended routine visa services at all U.S. Embassies and Consulates. Embassies and Consulates have canceled all routine immigrant and visa appointments as of March 20, 2020, but will continue to provide emergency and mission-critical visa services as resources and local conditions allow.  We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.  Please see these notices which contain detailed information about the current status of visa services worldwide and visa restrictions related to the COVID-19 global pandemic:
      https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/ea/covid-19-visa-services-and-restrictions.html

Please read this email in its entirety to find answers to commonly asked questions. For additional information, please refer to our website for updates: https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/

EMERGENCY REQUESTS: At this time, we are only responding to emergency emails. If you need to request an emergency visa appointment, log into your account at the official U.S. Department of State Visa Appointment Service site (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/) then select “Request Expedite” under “Group Actions” and detail the emergency (e.g. medical crisis or similar humanitarian circumstance compelling urgent and unexpected travel). If your appointment date has already passed, please use the "Missed My Appointment" link to submit and explain your emergency situation. Please be aware that we have a very limited number of emergency visa appointment slots. If we approve your request for an expedited appointment, we will schedule you for the first slot available. Once your appointment has been scheduled no changes can be made. If you cannot attend your interview on a given date, you will need to reschedule your appointment by logging into your account ( https://ais.usvisa-info.com/).
