We can accept and process your DV application if:
• Your DV visa case status at KCC is "current and ready to be scheduled"
• You are able to travel to Turkmenistan. Please note that U.S. Embassy is unable to assist with any travel arrangements to come to your appointment (Turkmenistan visa or letter of invitation etc. that should be done through travel agencies). Please explore options if you are able to obtain Turkmen visa before requesting case transfer. To avoid no shows, we will request a scanned copy of letter of invitation approved by Migration Service of Turkmenistan (equivalent of Turkmen visa) to proceed with case transfers.
• It will take us about two-three weeks to get your application from KCC schedule (if it is in "current and ready to be scheduled" status).
Non-resident immigrant visa applicants must speak English, Turkmen or Russian.
